My maid-of-honor spilled the beans: my bridal shower is sometime in April. And with that I realized I had nothing to wear.
We went a while back to some outlet shopping mall in Wisconsin to bargain shop. Not really thinking about the Bridal Shower my MOH found her oh-so-pretty-and-on-a-super-sale at BCBG. I’ll have to admit I was extermly jealous and sad that she found something for my event and I hadn’t. But last weekend future hubby, my grandparent’s and I went to the mall in search of the dress.
Ever since gaining 50+ pounds in the last 3 years I haven’t been one to shop since nothing cute seems to fit me. So I braved into the first store that we went to and found the dress, plus a sweater to cover up my arms. I’m not to super excited about the store we found it at but it’s a suprisingly cute dress that I can wear again for, say, the rehearsal dinner/bbq.
My next post, which will hopefully be later today, will include pictures of my dress. Which will most likely include a really funny story about a girdle.
I really, really, really want to knit this from Knitty.com .

It’s Belle Epoque by Libby Baker. If only, if only the yarn were still available. If only, if only it didn’t cost more than $50 to buy all the materials.
I’m going to have to put in a whole lot more hours in to make this.
My boss is in a huge grump. Everything I do is wrong today.
My car thinks it moving when it’s not. When stopped it wants to think it’s going 50 or 60. Just imagine what it thinks when I’m moving! I was a speed demon today going at a whopping 110mph! Sometimes it didn’t even register the speed since it was all the way past 110mph.
I wanna go fast!
My cluster is broken. It’s going to take a lot of money we don’t have to fix it. Unless there is still warranty on it. Knowing the dealership we got it from, of course we won’t.
The only sunny side of this week is tomorrow I am going to finally go to a knitting meetup! If anyone is interested it’s going to be in Antioch, IL at Cafe Book. There’s also a Ravelry group.
