20 Week Ultrasound

I’m so behind with my “weekly updates”. I know not to make any promises to change that. I’ve already posted my 20 week ultrasound on Facebook along with the name of Baby. So if you know it please don’t use the name here for privacy reasons or your comment will be deleted or moderated… Thanks!

Soo… Let me introduce you to Baby G!

Baby G would not move. At all. Even with the tech pushing at my stomach trying to get it to move. But baby is a lot like daddy already: nothing wakes him no matter how hard I try.

At first we didn’t want to find out the gender, but after much persisting from certain family members we gave in and found out.

So it will be a….

BOY!

Hubby and I cannot wait to see our precious little baby boy.

Love…

Today I am officially 17 weeks pregnant .

This baby is already much loved and very much anticipated by everyone.

The journey to 17 weeks has been very interesting road.

Why, only yesterday I was in the ER getting a IV drip to treat me for dehydration.

It happened like this: Sunday morning Hubs and I went out to our usual brunch with my Grandparents and little cousin. I had a Turkey Club Sandwich that didn’t taste so great but I was fine until it wanted to make a reappearance as we were leaving the restaurant… Hubs and I chalked it up to a bad food experience.  I had some water after then as we ran errands but it was just making me feel really sick.

When we got home hubs made us spaghetti and toast for dinner.  I hate throwing up spaghetti! I had a little bit of water, and it came back up. So did a Popsicle and some tea.

Morning came around; I had some breakfast, drove to work and up chucked at work (thank goodness it was in the car). Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had the joys of morning sickness but never like this. I just couldn’t keep anything down at all. Not even water.

Finally I called the OB GYNs office and told them what was going on. I was advised to make it over to the ER and get a drip going. My bosses drove me to the ER and Hubs met me at the Hospital. I had to wait almost 2 hours for a bed (apparently being pregnant and dehydrated didn’t take priority over some other non-emergencies.. Just saying).

I got the funny doctor, (which I really needed at that point) got hooked up and was reassured everything is fine. Doctors are funny with their insensitivity sometime no matter how nice they are. I’ll explain why: Hubs asked if we could hear the baby’s heart beat just to reassure me more. He gladly agreed to but had a lot of trouble trying to find Baby. It took almost 5 minutes to find it. When he finally find it he mutters under his breath that the pregnancy is still not viable until 20 weeks….

UHM, excuse me?! Last time I checked it was!! I’m pretty sure he didn’t mean it that way but still it pissed me off.

Oh well, at least we heard the baby again, I got my nausea drugs and I feel a ton better today.

I’m hoping that we can get an ultrasound scheduled after this weekend ( going in for a checkup) to see if we have a pink or blue in our future. I can’t wait!

I have a lot more stories to share, but I’ll share those another day.

Don’t I just look wonderful?

I hope to remember to wear some kind of makeup to the birth…

Phone post

I love how I can post on my phone. Photos and all.
This week went by fast. Last weekend hubby and I took a weekend trip to Indianapolis. We stayed at the Canterbury Hotel. I’m not sure why there was a pretty disgusting smell in the city the whole time we were there. Don’t think will be going back anytime soon.
Lets see how this wordpress app makes my posts look. Enjoy the photos.

Twitter

I used to tweet a whole bunch back when I first started my Twitter account last year. It wasn’t until around Christmas time that stopped.
Why?
Someone made a snide comment about people who overly used smileys and “LOL” too much. I was one of those people. And I know for a fact I was the one she directed that to.
It stinks that where ever you go, internet or real life, girls can be so catty. I don’t know why that stuck with me for this long. Of course I unsubscribed to her but those those stupid words will always stick with me.
So.. I’m done being a mute on Twitter, I’m done trying to mold myself into something someone might like to read.

I’m just going to write. And write I will. =^-^=

{ps. Anyone else annoyed with @jimcarrey boing tweets? *unsubscribing*}

Night

There’s a gorgeous thunderstorm playing in the background. “Watching” shows on the DVR. Catching up on Blogs, Facebook and Twitter. I should be cleaning, but I’m finally sitting down to write a post.  For some reason I feel too silly and old to be writing blog post, for everyone to see. It’s a throw back to my Senior year in High School.  Xanga my was heroin back then.

I hope everyone had a happy and safe Easter.

Hubby and I went spent it with his family. First, we went to his Aunt and Uncle’s annual Easter egg hunt.Never went to an easter egg hunt of epic proportions. Come to think of it, my family never really did easter egg hunts.

It was so windy his head kept falling off.

My hubby. :)

Next up, his brother’s house.

Aren’t the girls darling?

These two not so much. lol Love them to pieces anyway.

Ton’s a yummy food and good company.

Whoops!
